Jackson Kayak’s design team was assisted by Drew Gregory, a professional kayak fisherman, to produce a model that is the first all water fishing craft!
The Jackson Coosa has been designed to meet the fisherman’s needs, with particular consideration given to its stability and durability. Its whitewater esq ‘rocker’, secondary stability and ‘creek style’ hull design all make for a performing river craft. It turns tight, slips shallow to get over debris, gets you over shallow river beds and gets you to some of the most secluded fishing grounds imaginable. The Jackson Coosa has excellent stability and it’s 31.5″ width and hull design make it quite easy to stand on whilst fishing.

The Coosa also includes loads of storage space in the hull and rear tank well, with a small pocket for safe storage of wallet, keys, camera etc. under the seat storage for your tackle boxes and a cup holder. The seat is extremely comfortable and excellent for longer days and inclines to any position. It is a major innovation because you have lower more stable seating for small rapids and a higher position when needed for sight fishing. You can also remove the seat when needed for camping or having lunch on the shore.
